Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Danville, PA 17822 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)

Setting : On-Site, General Radiology Unit

Employment Type : Travel Contract

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 17, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday (No weekends)

Hours per Week : 40

Shift Duration : 8 Hour Days

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,150 - $2,310 per week

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Valid General Radiographer certification (ARRT preferred)

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech

Proficiency in radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations

Knowledge of radiology equipment operation and safety protocols

Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a healthcare setting

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using proper patient positioning and exposure techniques

Operate and maintain radiology equipment within assigned modality

Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment

Assess patient body size, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to tailor exams

Assist physicians with clinical procedures as needed

Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs

Maintain accurate healthcare records and documentation

Participate in Quality Assurance / Quality Control procedures

Support educational training for students in the radiology department
