Overview
This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. Are you ready to craft compelling in-product messaging for mobile apps, set-top box apps, responsive websites, and interactive program guides? As a Senior Content Designer at Spectrum, you will create cross-platform messaging that enhances user experiences across various applications. Collaborate with multiple teams to design innovative solutions and support new and existing features, ensuring seamless and engaging interactions for our users.
What You’ll Make an Impact
- Enhance the user experience of a product by crafting content to fit product needs such as product copy, instructional text, UI labels, error messaging, and marketing copy
- Responsible for consistent cross-product messaging across all digital channels
- Responsible for creating copy that works as part of a UX / UI design solution that is engaging and effective to help achieve business goals
- Function as the liaison with product managers, designers and developers to understand and write content that meets business and technical requirements
- Create and adheres to voice, tone, style and brand content guidelines
- Accept editorial feedback from stakeholders and peers and be great at incorporating feedback received into the work product. In addition, to be able to offer design feedback to UX / UI designer-peers where appropriate
- Advocate for the customer experience within the organization
- Ownership of content / voice / tone of one or more products
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceExperience
6+ years writing experience with at least 50% focus on UX writingExperience with common productivity and design tools (MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)Experience or understanding of basic UX / product design principlesExperience leading creative projectsSkills
