Project Manager for Rebuild USVI Program

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team in the U.S. Virgin Islands as part of the Rebuild USVI program. As a leading member of our team, you'll lead and oversee multi-disciplinary design teamsincluding Architectural, MEP, Structural, and Civilthrough all phases of project development. We are looking for a results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions. As the Project Manager, you'll play an integral role in mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. You'll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects while adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques. Responsibilities include :

  • Support the Senior Project Manager - Education sector.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; develop detailed execution plans.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance, ensuring alignment with cost constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solving.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and decisions.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Apply proven project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and add value.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Make strategic decisions to address challenges and keep projects on track.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-9 years of experience in construction and at least 2 years as a project manager.
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems / components and technology, team building, and client relationship building.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, initiator, leader; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Project Management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
