Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Clinic-Based | Durham, NC

Part-Time (12 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 PM)

$21.50 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)

At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) , our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) make a lasting impact by helping children with autism learn communication, social, and daily living skills through compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

We’re hiring a part-time RBT to provide in-clinic ABA therapy at our Durham, NC clinic during afternoon hours (12 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 PM) . This position is ideal for experienced RBTs or newly certified professionals looking to work consistent, meaningful hours in a supportive team setting.

Position Highlights

  • Setting : Clinic-based ABA therapy (Durham, NC)
  • Status : Part-time, consistent afternoon hours (3 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 PM)
  • Reports To : Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Compensation : $21.50 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)

What You’ll Do

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in a clinic-based environment
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans designed by a supervising BCBA
  • Collect accurate session data using digital tools
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, fellow RBTs, and caregivers to support client progress
  • Foster a positive, structured environment that promotes learning and growth
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
  • One year of ABA experience (preferred; newly certified RBTs encouraged to apply)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
