Job description

Claims Services Coordinator

The Claims Services Coordinator works with the Claims Services Managers (CSMs) to enhance customer service to all clients, internal staff, and other service providers.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent with three (3) years administrative assistance experience.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Claim Review Organization :
  • Help CSMs organize claim review meetings by inviting clients to participate in semi-annual (sometimes quarterly) claim reviews, schedule these reviews, and make sure all dates, times and call-in information is communicated to the client, the CSM, the broker and the TPA.

  • Gather claim summary reports from TPA and get them to the appropriate members prior to the review.
  • Surveys :
  • Distribution and analysis of claim service satisfaction and other surveys.

  • Board Book Materials :
  • Gather necessary data points and communication drafts.

  • Edit and review for accuracy.
  • Member / Broker / Vendor Service Requests :
  • Run frequent reports and format them as requested by member companies / vendors / brokers.

  • Always provide prompt and helpful responses to all requests and communications from clients (and other service providers) with a focus on quality customer service.
  • Internal Support :
  • Department projects from data warehouse needs to department process efficiencies.

  • Assist in Risk Control Workshop presentation materials and logistics as required.
  • Assist with reports needed for board book materials and Captive Review meetings.
  • Additional Tasks :
  • Provide a Claims Services Guide to all new captive members and set up new captive members with the appropriate third-party administrator when requested.

  • Assist with broadcast emails and contact information accuracy. Consult as needed on processes and output for new internal systems such as Pulpstream and Data Warehouse.
