Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year in a K-12 setting located in Middletown, NY. This part-time role requires providing speech and language therapy to preschool and school-aged students within the school environment, focusing on individualized student needs aligned with educational goals.

Responsibilities :

• Assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans consistent with IEP goals and state education standards.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support and monitor student progress.
• Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of services rendered, student progress, and compliance.
• Facilitate the generalization of communication skills across academic and social settings.
