RN Registered Nurse, Operating Room Full Time Nights (Hiring Immediately)

General Summary : RN Registered Nurse Operating Room, Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital

Full Time Nights 36 hours / week. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights 7p to 730a

Sign on bonus eligible : Up to $10,000 for FT Nights

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient / family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Henry Ford Providence Novi has 18 OR rooms in 2 sites. Henry Ford Novi performs a variety of services with the exception of Bariatrics, Transplants and CVOR (open heart). Many cases are orthopedics, neuro spine and brain and Neurotology.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURES REQUIRED : Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS). RN Lactation Consultant : IBCLC certification must be acquired within 12 months of hire & maintained.

Preferred Experience, 1-2 Years RN Experience in the Operating Room
