Job Description

Position Summary

The Self-Inspect Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to brand standards while also performing a final self-inspection to ensure quality and readiness. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and accountability to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour; actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.

Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards
• Perform a thorough self-inspection of each room to ensure readiness before marking it as clean
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed
• Dust, vacuum, and sanitize all surfaces, including bathrooms and high-touch areas
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost and found items promptly
• Replenish housekeeping carts and ensure supplies are stocked for daily use
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols
• Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team and supervisors
• Ensure timely completion of assigned room quotas
• Respect guest privacy and adhere to “Do Not Disturb” policies
• Uphold a positive and professional demeanor while representing the hotel
• Other duties as assigned
