We are currently seeking an Experienced Equipment Mechanic to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.

Job Summary :

As an Experienced Equipment Mechanic at Souter Limestone, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment and machinery used in limestone quarrying and production. Your technical expertise will ensure our equipment is operating at peak performance, contributing directly to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment, including crushers, loaders, dump trucks, and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in a wide range of heavy-duty equipment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Adhere to all safety standards and best practices while working on machinery.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment when required.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices for equipment maintenance.
