PCU Registered Nurse Job Details Assignment Type : Travel nursing job

Location : Springfield, VT 05156 (Vermont healthcare jobs)

Unit : Med-Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 21 / 2025 – End : 3 / 22 / 2026)

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday coverage as required

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1930 - $2070 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg / Telemetry nursing experience

Charge nurse experience required

PCU experience required; experience with drips required

ICU nursing experience strongly preferred

At least 3 months of previous travel RN experience required

Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within RN scope of practice

Experience in small critical access healthcare facilities preferred

Must have own vehicle for transportation

PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit (PCU) and adaptive acuity setting (including 3 : 1 PCU-level care as needed)

Serve as charge nurse when required

Administer and monitor IV drips and advanced therapies

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Float to other inpatient units as needed within your RN scope of practice

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards

Participate in orientation and comply with all facility policies and procedures
