The Tech One Program (TOP) is a structured career development program for entry-level wind technicians, developed in partnership with industry leaders Sky Climber Renewables and Vestas Americas.
Job Summary :
The TOP Wind Service Technicians will receive exclusive wind safety and technical training accredited by the Global Wind Organization (GWO). They will primarily work at a wind site near their home, on a service team to ensure safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance. They report directly to the Program Manager and Site Manager, and indirectly to the Lead Technician during jobs. Responsibilities include performing preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment safely and efficiently. They maintain and repair machinery used mainly in power generation, turbines, and generators, under supervision. They are not certified to work inside cabinets or controllers without direct supervision by a certified Electrical Technician. Additional duties may be assigned to meet customer needs and promote Sky Climber's mission and values.
