The Gainey Agency is seeking a remote Sales Customer Service representative to deliver professional, client-focused service and support sales efforts for life insurance and related products. This role combines consultative sales, client service, and policy administration in a fully remote capacity, with structured training and ongoing mentorship provided.
Key responsibilities :
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate life insurance, mortgage protection, and annuity options.
- Present quotes, assist clients with application completion, and obtain required documentation.
- Follow up on warm leads and nurture prospects through the sales process.
- Support the policy lifecycle, including issuance, renewals, changes, endorsements, and basic claims coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy transactions in CRM and internal systems.
- Coordinate with underwriting, product, and sales teams to resolve client issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
- Participate in regular team training and meetings to stay current on products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Required qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional telephone / email etiquette.Customer-focused, coachable, and self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently.Access to a computer, reliable internet connection, and a suitable remote workspace.Authorization to work in the United States.Willingness to obtain relevant state insurance license(s) in a timely manner; licensing support provided.Preferred qualifications :
Prior experience in insurance sales, customer service, or financial services.Familiarity with CRM systems and quote / issuance platforms.Demonstrated track record of meeting sales or service performance targets.Experience working remotely and managing a virtual workload.Work arrangement and compensation :
