Psychiatric Nurse (RN) - PER DIEM

Registered Nurse, Outpatient Behavioral Health, Per-diem

Per-diem opportunity is available for a dynamic, experienced RN in our outpatient mental health clinic. Primary responsibility involves administering LAI medications in our Decanoate clinic. Other tasks include health evaluations, psycho-education groups that focus on wellness, illness-prevention, and managing side-effects to medication, facilitation of linkages to medical providers and internal team members. Core required hours are Tuesday & Thursday, 8 : 30 am - 3 : 00 pm, with additional hours / days as needed up to 20 hours / week. Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills required.

At least 1-3 years of nursing experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse setting is strongly preferred; including some prior experience preparing and administering LAI medications. Bilingual Spanish candidates encouraged to apply.

Pay : $67.92 / hr (NYSNA union rate)
