Business Enablement Analyst

First Citizens Bank is looking for a Business Enablement Analyst to support the Enterprise Cyber Security Office. This will be an important role supporting the ECSO Strategy & Execution team, which is responsible for developing the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and overseeing and enabling the execution of that strategy. This individual contributor role will be responsible for enabling business critical functions like Strategic Cost Management, executive reporting, workforce planning, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

Business Enablement and Strategic Cost Management drives plans, processes, and requirements that support the enterprise risk-based cyber security strategy by facilitating key business enabling functions. Define the required processes to drive a proactive strategic approach to building cost savings and realizing annualized budget targets.

Leads business enabling initiatives. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters. Aids in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors.

Accounting and Financial Variance Analysis

• Invoice processing and monthly accruals
• Cost validations and storytelling
• Tool / Vendor rationalizations and Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis
• Responsibility Center Audits and Maintenance and organizational level updates

Vendor Management

Workforce management including hiring governance and capacity planning

Executive Reporting & Automation - Produces reports based on analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement, and tracks effectiveness of implemented enhancements. Creates specifications, action plans, and other documentation in support of business initiatives.

Business Strategy - supports the execution of the enterprise risk-based cyber security strategy by delivering tactical solutions to processes with a bias towards efficiency, automation, and cost savings.

Relationship Building

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry.

Intermediate core competencies in the following :

The base pay for this position is generally between $85,000 and $130,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and / or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
