The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.Relocation Allowance, if applicable : The amount is determined by the distance they are moving from to the facility. It is a reimbursement-based system. Providers receive the amount in their contract, and they can submit receipts for reimbursement up to that amount.Client cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of their institutions.Not accepting Locums candidates.Job Summary :
NP has both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.NP’s work closely with the Colorectal and Urology surgeons for pre-surgery site markings and to ensure patients and their families receive the education they need on ostomies- what to expect, life adaptations and follow-up care post-procedure.Conduct thorough assessments of ostomy patients, including evaluation of wound status, skin integrity, and overall health.Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring optimal wound healing and management of complications.Provide patient education on ostomy care techniques, skin maintenance, and prevention of complications.Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.Utilize evidence-based practices and advanced wound care techniques to promote healing and prevent infection.Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols.Applicants should possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing excellent care to a vulnerable population.Required Minimum Qualifications :
Board Certified (by time of start) NP - REQUIREDNY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIREDWOCN Certification - REQUIRED (NO EXCEPTIONS)Knowledge and experience with wound care and ostomies - REQUIREDDEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIREDAt least 1 year of NP employment experience, preferably in wound care management with an on ostomy care - HIGHLY PREFERREDWill also consider upcoming 2025 graduate candidatesCompany Description
