Job descriptionLife, AD&D & Disability (paid for by the company) 401K with a company match Safe & clean work environment (following CDC guidelines to keep our employees safe!) Ability to operate GMAW (MIG) GTAW (TIG) and follow WPS welding processes (3G / 3F) RWMA (Spot Weld) resistance welding processes and follow WPS welding processes Ability to operate an oxy-acetylene torch (brazing process a plus) Knowledge of weld symbols and where to look them up Basic knowledge of welding techniques, materials and equipment Proficient in using shop tools related to welding fit up (such as grinders) Able to demonstrate basics of blueprint reading, read a tape measure and calipers Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to cmplete assigned tasks within set time allotted Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer and / or written reporting Performs operator maintenance on equipment High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and / or related work experience Able to obtain AWS Certification in all above welding areas Operation of small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment
