QA Analyst (offshore)

A healthcare company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to assist their Quality Assurance / Government Services team with getting BDD off the ground and running. The ideal candidate is someone who has been automating for a while now and can help the hiring manager tactically and strategically. Tactically, you will help implement automation via the BDD framework and strategically, help train and increase the teams' knowledge around BDD. You will be responsible for automated testing experience working with the BDD framework using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Java, and Jenkins. During these two stages, you will be implementing CICD processes and building automation suites using BDD as well as help train / assist other team members. You will need to have strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. You will review features / user stories to provide meaningful feedback as well as perform thorough regression testing when needed. As a QA tester, you will develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures both automated and manually. The environment for this team is 70% automated testing and 30% manual testing.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years' experience with Software Testing and hands-on quality testing with a strong understanding of QA practices such as design, implement and automate

Strong automated testing experience working with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework using tools like : Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Java, and Jenkins

Experience developing Test Suites that can be called via CI / CD (e.g. build a QA job that executes tests and send results automatically (email, etc...) via CI / CD)

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience using Git, MariaDB, and / or Maven

Basic Healthcare knowledge (Member, Provider, or Authorization)
