Job description

We are looking for Field Installers for the Steel Division for an Industrial Fabrication company in Anaheim. Join the team and be part of a busy operation with growth opportunities.

As a field worker :

You will help welders and fabricators in jobsites around Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside and surroundings.
Experience with construction, fabrication shops, welding helper, or manufacturing is preferred.
Open to work OVERTIME.
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
Welding certification is NOT required.

Responsibilities :

Drive to jobsites in Los Angeles and Orange counties and work helping welders, construction workers, fabricators to complete various tasks including, but not limited to loading, unloading, prepping work areas, and assisting welders and sheet metal laborers.

Use power tools, hydraulic tools, and pneumatic machinery like Grinders, Hand Tools, saws, drills, etc.

Welding, Stick, FCAW. Fabrication, installation, repairs.

Assist in the preparation of materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning.

Ensure that materials are properly aligned and positioned for welding.

Ensure that welding machines are in proper working order.

Transport and handle materials using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment as needed.

Move and position materials to assist welders in their tasks.

Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Assist in the maintenance of welding equipment and tools.

Monitor the welding process to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.

Requirements :

5+ years of Steel Installation, or Fabrication helper experience.

FIELD WORK experience is a MUST.

Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and machinery.

Experience operating power tools and / or heavy machinery

Available to start ASAP.

$25 to $27.

Welding experience is a plus.
