We are looking for a strategic, curious, and impact-driven leader to play a hands-on role leading and growing our portfolio of AI and cloud infrastructure segments within our Enterprise Technology Group.
Who you are :
- Have deep knowledge and strong relationships in AI, cloud, software development and enterprise IT infrastructure. AI infrastructure experience (hardware and advanced logic processing such as GPUs, TPUs, etc.) and chips is a plus.
- Are passionate about how these technologies are redefining how we live and work.
- Demonstrable knowledge and curiosity about the enterprise tech landscape — including the rapidly evolving generative AI space.
- Understand cybersecurity, supply chain / logistics, and collaboration technologies at a practical level.
- Would be a right-hand person to Erin Smith, Head of the Enterprise Technology Group, which includes : Future Stack and AI, Trust, Commerce & Supply Chain, and Future of Work.
Responsibilities
Lead and grow the portfolio of AI and cloud infrastructure segments within Mission North’s Enterprise Technology Group.Be responsible for client retention, product / service evolution, staff development and portfolio growth.Collaborate with peers overseeing other Enterprise Innovation segments to set and reach goals for the broader group.Serve as a trusted strategic partner to enterprise B2B clients and promote communications strategies that enable their success.Set and plan against revenue goals, talent development, agency marketing, lead generation and new business development for the Enterprise Innovation Group, focusing on infrastructure and bleeding-edge tech accounts.Proactively drive new business with minimal oversight, including overseeing pitch teams from start to finish.Generate new revenue with existing clients by recommending timely scope adjustments.Work with specialists to provide programs that integrate traditional PR, digital, and social media platforms.Mentor and coach staff across all levels and direct account staffing and forecasting with fellow account leads.Represent Mission North and our clients at industry events for new business networking and professional development.Qualifications
10–12 years of experience at PR agencies and / or enterprise B2B tech company comms teams at the operational level.Adept at managing relationships with C-level executives at tech companies.Ability to tap into a strong network of potential talent, partners and customers to support practice and business growth.Deep expertise in at least three of the following : app / software development, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, data infrastructure, AI infrastructure, analytics, and quantum computing.Experience architecting integrated communications strategies through milestone moments (e.g., launches, new categories, crises, IPOs).Compelling communication and presentation skills; strong creative and content development skills on technical topics.Strong new business development skills with a proven track record of closing and retaining new clients.Experience leading strategic workshops and initiatives including messaging, thought leadership platform development and media training.Proven ability to direct multiple teams at PR / agencies or within the comms function of enterprise tech companies.Strong management skills and genuine interest in mentoring teams; thrive in a dynamic, priority-rich environment.Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range : Expected Salary range depending on experience : $170,000-$200,000, not including year-end profit sharing bonus.Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills and prior relevant experience.Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including healthcare, 401(k) with employer match, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, paid time off, paid parental leave, and holidays.About Mission North
