We are looking for a skilled Project Controller, Sr to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Juno Beach, Florida. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing financial and operational reporting at the site level, ensuring accurate accounting practices, and supporting the forecasting and budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis and reporting, with a keen attention to detail and proficiency in tools like Excel to manage data effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and capital forecasts to support site-level operations.
• Analyze financial data to assist in decision-making and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and consolidation of project entities.
• Conduct variance analyses to compare actual performance against budgeted figures and identify trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models in Excel to forecast project costs and monitor expenditures.
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs to maintain budgets and forecast end-of-project spending.
• Support tax provision preparation and ensure timely reporting on a quarterly basis.
• Assist with cost and schedule risk assessments to improve financial planning and project execution.
• Prepare comprehensive financial presentations for senior management to aid strategic decision-making.
• Administer and interpret accounting policies to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to develop complex financial models.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, variance analysis, and cost tracking methodologies.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and policies, including journal entries and consolidations.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial data clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience in managing financial activities within construction or energy-related projects is preferred.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
