Job description

About Us

Join our team of BCBAs, SLPs, Administration, and RBTs with special visits from music intervention, pet interactions, and other collaborations to enhance our Therapy Through Play model! Our center considers the principles of Reggio Emilia by devising an NET child-led learning environment and supporting the individual through a variety of approaches.

We are currently hiring for our early intervention clinic in Florissant. Clients attend therapy from 7 : 45 a.m. to 3 : 45 p.m. No nights, weekends, or travel to client homes!

Job Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist MO License
  • Ability to develop strong, professional relationships
  • Familiarity with and ability to conduct ADOS-2 (or willingness to complete ADOS-2 training) with physician's approval to diagnose ASD for potential clients. (Preferred but not required)

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, instruction, and support to clients and family members during regularly scheduled sessions.
  • Work in effective collaboration with ABSpectrum’s clinical team.
  • Effectively manage caseloads, prepare and submit all required documentation promptly to the Director / Owner and insurance companies.
  • Ensure that all treatment methodologies are evidence-based and reflect the most recent research findings.
  • Train staff on recent research findings or new information received via conference / continuing education opportunities.
  • Create materials to be used for programming and assessment.
  • Conduct assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plan for each student.
  • Develop treatment plans and individualized goals for each student and ensure they are updated at least every three months.
  • Participate in team, staff, and parent meetings when needed.
  • Collaborate with families and staff in the development of language support strategies.
  • Train staff as needed on speech therapy interventions.
  • Give basic training to parents for generalizing language development skills.
