Java Application Support Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Onshore Performance Lead to oversee and drive performance testing, monitoring, and optimization activities across enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in performance engineering tools such as LoadRunner, Dynatrace, and Splunk, coupled with hands-on experience in Java, Python, JVM tuning, SQL optimization, and microservices-based architectures. This role requires close collaboration with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end performance testing and engineering activities for critical applications.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts and scenarios using LoadRunner (or equivalent tools).
• Analyze and interpret performance results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend tuning solutions.
• Utilize Dynatrace, Splunk, and other APM tools for monitoring application health, transaction tracing, and performance diagnostics.
• Perform JVM tuning, analysis, and SQL tuning to enhance system efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize Java and Python applications for scalability and responsiveness.
• Review performance requirements and ensure non-functional testing aligns with business SLAs and KPIs.
• Partner with Azure Cloud teams to validate application performance in cloud environments and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance forecasting efforts.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for performance testing and monitoring.
