Job descriptionEnsure quality care by adhering to physician standards. Provide in-home care for patients. Prepare and maintain accurate clinical notes in the clinical record. Carry out assigned tasks, including administering treatments and medications and assessing overall patient health. Coordinate follow-up communication with case managers and physicians as required. Complete electronic and paper documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Engage in continuing education as necessary for professional growth. Valid and active nursing license and registration. Current CPR certification. Familiarity with OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA regulations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a fit-to-work physical, and maintain good health free of communicable diseases.
