Job description
A company is looking for an Associate Actuary.
Key Responsibilities
Calculates and analyzes monthly reserves, identifying drivers of IBNR calculations
Develops revenue models for financial reporting and prepares summaries for management
Coordinates actuarial opinions and communicates analysis results to stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Education
ASA or near ASA (1-2 requirements remaining)
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
4+ years of experience in healthcare and / or Medicaid / ACA products
Experience mining large data sets and advanced capabilities in Excel, SAS / SQL
Programming experience in Python & R is a plus
