SU MMARY :

The Plant Manager will oversee all activities at the site which include quarry, plant processing, load out and local community representation. The ideal Plant Manager has proven experience in leading teams, leading processes, inspiring and leading capital projects, surpassing compliance requirements with minimal exception, equipment know-how, and a keen ability to be a team player. Being motivated to find continuous improvement and having the aptitude of a learner mentality will assist in being successful in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage daily activities of quarry and plant operations - Hiring, training and leading staff. Coordination with sales and customer service ensures a consistent supply of quality products. Develop and implement standard operating procedures and performance measures. Key plant metrics include cost per ton, up time, in-tank rates, production efficiencies, communications networks for plant processes and building, and employee retention.
• Develop plans and implement projects - From daily preventative maintenance routines to forward-looking capital planning, the Plant Manager must be an agile learner and have a high competency level in operations activities. Plant metrics and success in achieving these is their direct accountability.
• Collaboration with company staff - Plan daily, monthly and long-term tonnage requirements. Engage daily, the operational activities with company headquarters staff. Strategic planning and presentation with company leaders. Coordinate safety compliance with the safety manager. Ensure quality compliance along with the quality manager. Monitoring and promoting Environmental compliance Air-Land-Water, driven by both Federal and State regulations.
