Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Trinidad, Colorado.

In our facility, the RRT covers our Med / surg floor, ER, and outpatients.

They work 12 hours on, then 12 hours on call.

They sometimes get called in for call callback for emergencies, which they are compensated for at a 2-hour callback minimum.

They work 3-12-hour shifts per week. It is a set schedule, working every other weekend. If needed, I can send that over as well.

Our facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital. However, our med / surg floor has 12 beds, and our ER has 10 beds.

A typical day is spent rounding on med / surg inpatients, caring for all patients that come into the emergency room (level 4-stabilize and transfer), performing EKGs on all patients that come into the ER, as well as outpatient care, which includes pulmonary function tests when scheduled.
