Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Rehab

Location : St. Charles, MO

Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025

Assignment Length : 13 Weeks

Shift Details : Days : 8-hour shifts

32–40 hours scheduled / week, no guaranteed hours

Possible float to Atrium as needed

Weekends : None

On-call : None

Position Summary :

PTAs implement components of patient care, obtain data related to treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modify care plans as needed. They assist physical therapists in treating individuals of all ages, from newborns to end-of-life patients.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist patients with stretching and exercises for targeted muscle groups

Follow instructions from the Physical Therapist and assist during treatments

Communicate with families to provide at-home techniques

Maintain clean and organized physical therapy areas

Transfer patients from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas

Complete administrative tasks including scheduling and paperwork

Teach patients techniques such as balance training

Submission Requirements :

Minimum 1 year PTA experience – Required

LTC or Rehab experience – Required

PTA license – Required

CPR certification – Required
