Senior Planning / Budget Analyst
CACI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning / Budget Analyst to support our organization's strategic planning, budgeting, and program management processes. This role requires high analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. Responsibilities :
- Support annual budget build, including Program Budget Submission and Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB)
- Prepare budget exercise submissions, ensuring they are rational, defensible, and executable
- Monitor program execution and implement realignments as needed
- Participate in identifying objectives, actions, and timelines linked to resource requirements
- Assist with the development of performance measures for strategic goals and objectives
- Support senior management in reviewing performance against stated goals
- Conduct complex program analyses
- Prepare documentation, briefings, and discussions to justify and defend program directions and resource requirements
- Conduct research to respond to inquiries and direct actions
- Lead or conduct briefings and meetings
- Coordinate with leadership and stakeholders on initiatives and program status
- Consult with senior management on data and analytical requirements
- Prepare clear, concise presentations of complex information
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degreeMinimum 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in project / program management, quantitative analysis, or financial analysis. A Master's of Business Administration may substitute for two years of applicable work experience at a mid-levelStrong knowledge of federal regulations and laws related to budgeting and resource managementProficiency in automated program planning software applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of project management concepts and principlesPrior experience with resource planning and understanding of budgeting practicesActive TS / SCI with polyMaster's degree in quantitative analysis, financial analysis, social sciences, or related fieldAbility to analyze complex information and draw meaningful conclusionsStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple and changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWhat You Can Expect :
