In This Role, You’ll :

• Perform daily transportation duties while serving as a lead resource for the driver team.
• Assist with scheduling, route coverage, and shift coordination to support smooth operations.
• Support the Driver Supervisor / Transportation Manager in monitoring performance, addressing concerns, and reinforcing company policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance needs promptly. Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport and deliver products, including managing backhauls.
• Train, mentor, and support new drivers, reinforcing safety and service standards.
• Act as the first point of escalation for on-route issues, ensuring timely communication with dispatch and leadership.
• Promote and model a culture of safety, compliance, and teamwork across the driver group
