About The Position

Description :

Pre-Screen Unit - Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit.

If the clinical pass is met and within guidelines, candidates will be sent for final decision-making.

Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.

Manager will interview selected candidates.

Weekends will be required every other week.

Candidates will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays.

No RTO will be permitted between Christmas and New Year's.

Candidates may float to all Medical Surgical units, including Tele Stroke.

There is a requirement to care for patients on Medical, Surgical, and Rehabilitation units.

Candidates could be assigned to care for COVID patients.

This facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.

Experience with patient ratio, charting systems, and additional skills are required.

Various patient diagnoses will be encountered, as this is a standard medical unit.

Daily census is approximately 32 patients, with a total of 42 beds available.

Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as IV, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy among others.

The candidate must possess experience in a variety of nursing skills and patient care management.
