Position Overview :

The Project Accountant will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting for multiple construction projects. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with Project Managers to ensure financial accuracy and control throughout the lifecycle of each project. Key responsibilities include :

Set up new projects in the accounting system

Monitor and track project costs

Ensure accurate coding of invoices and expenses

Manage AIA billing process

Process subcontractor payments

Oversee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies

Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations to review financial progress

Handle all other project-related accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications :

3+ years of experience in project accounting within the construction industry

Proficiency in project-specific accounting software

Advanced Excel skills

Preference given to those with Business or Accounting degree.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Demonstrated experience with AIA billing

Stable work history required for consideration
