Job description

Overview of the Position

Address technical issues for FAA approved aftermarket aircraft parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process drawing changes from redline to release.
Attend Design Review to present proposed drawing changes.
Follow department procedures for drawing changes.
If required, may use standard measurement tools such as a micrometer or caliper to gather dimensional data.
Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good written and oral communication skills

Detail oriented

Computer skills : Microsoft Office Suite

Familiar with ASME Y14.5 dimension and geometric tolerance standards

Education / Experience Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

Is frequently required to talk or listen.

Is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel.

Is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 10 pounds.

Works in moderate noise levels.

Travel up to 20%.
