Job description

Our client located near Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a CT Tech to join their Radiology / Imaging team! Enjoy a full-time permanent position that offers competitive compensation, full benefits, and stability. The ideal provider is ARRT Certified in Radiology (R) and CT and has one year of experience. Client is willing to hire without CT certification but must complete within 12 months.

  • Monday - Thursday schedule
  • Willing to train in other modalities
  • Large Imaging team!
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Sign on and relocation available!

Job Responsibilities of the CT Tech :

  • Prepare patients : Position patients to capture the appropriate images, and answer questions about the procedure
  • Ensure safety : Sterilize radiologic equipment, and ensure the proper dose of radionuclides are administered
  • Monitor patient comfort : Observe for adverse reactions or complications, and take appropriate action
  • Evaluate images : Review images for quality, and correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
  • Administer contrast materials : Enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
  • Perform procedures : Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures, and perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner

    • Minimum Job Requirements as the CT Tech

  • One year of experience as a Rad Tech but seeking to gain experience within the CT field.
  • Graduate of ARRT approved Radiology program
  • BLS Certification
