Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,254 per week in Alton, IL

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Telemetry Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Valid state license required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have : Experience in telemetry and care of adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring Description : The position involves working in an Intermediate Care Unit. The nurse will care for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and post-cardiac catheterization. Patient diagnoses may include chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, and renal failure. The nurse will manage up to 6 patients per assigned shift. Acute care experience is necessary. Floating to other areas may be required to meet facility needs. Candidates will need to be flexible with scheduling, including weekends. Weekly hours guaranteed will be 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts. Medical and religious exemptions apply for flu vaccination requirements. Compliance with health safety regulations is expected. All necessary skills and qualifications must be met for submission. References from supervisory positions within the last two years are preferred.
