Position Summary

Increases market shares by interviewing applicants and examining, evaluating, and authorizing approval of applicants for all types of consumer loans, including residential equity, equity line of credit, and credit cards. Performance of all customer service related job tasks is required. Inputs and updates loan data into the computer systems, assembles, and verifies loan document for accuracy. Complete knowledge of all Consumer Loan Products offered by the Bank is essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Accepts loan applications for all types of consumer loans, including residential equity, equity line of credit, credit cards and request all documents needed for a credit decision
• Generates loan packet, organize loan files and verifies information
• Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business, refers visitors for Real Estate and Commercial Loans to the appropriate person and interviews Consumer Loan customers
• Obtains and distributes rate information
• Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate individual and places outgoing calls
• Records and maintains loan data for compliance; notifies applicant of approval, counter offer or denial
• Reviews applications for completeness, retrieves documents for closing
• Performs all duties necessary to close consumer and equity loans
• Offers credit life and accident / health insurance products to loan customers
• Assists customers (in person and by telephone) with inquires regarding the Institution’s financial services
• Refers bank products and services, including insurance and investment services, to appropriate bank representative
• Complies with specific job related BSA policies and procedures
• Compliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the Bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Bank policy.
