Job Description
Responsible for closing doc drawing, preparing, reviewing and funding approved loan files ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and company policies. Coordinates disbursement of funds with escrow, title companies, and warehouse banks. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's shipping policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The starting pay is $26.50 plus incentive.
What you'll do :
- Works with appropriate parties to draw docs and clear any outstanding conditions prior to loan funding
- Reviews signed loan documents for compliance with federal, state and local law and company policies and procedures
- Reviews and approves settlement statement from closing agent
- Verifies and prepares wire transfer requests
- Verifies loan amount, all fees, rates, discount points and other funding amounts
- Reviews signed loan documents for correct signatures, notary information, title reports and escrow instructions
- Inputs funding information into the Encompass loan system(s)
- Follows up with any post-closing issues that may arise
- Maintains a working knowledge of Company and regulatory changes that effect the funding process
- Resolves funding discrepancies with the Servicing Department and Shipping Department
- Assists departmental support staff when necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What you'll need :
Must demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of mortgage loan closing and fundingExperienced in NONQM, Conventional, FHA ,VA and USDA loan programs for wet and dry statesUnderstanding of current regulationsMaintains highly confidential information concerning clientsRequires high level of organizational skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneouslyConstant contact with title / escrow companies and internal office staffNormal coordination of various duties requiredExperience working in a paperless environment preferred.Office machines such as computer, copiers, scanners, fax machinesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to handle detailed assignmentsAbility to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlinesExcellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office productsStrong customer service skillsOur Company :
