Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Provider Integration Specialist to oversee and coordinate all aspects of new provider onboarding and integration within a healthcare network. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless transition for incoming, transferring, and departing providers by collaborating with multiple departments including medical staff, leadership, and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and experience in physician onboarding or recruitment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end integration of new providers, ensuring all administrative, operational, and logistical needs are met prior to their first day.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to coordinate onboarding for new providers, as well as transitions for those changing or adding locations.
- Manage offboarding processes for departing providers, ensuring all necessary documentation, benefits information, and equipment retrieval are completed.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, balancing time and attention across competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements related to provider integration and onboarding.
- Lead project management and Lean / Six Sigma initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain strong communication with department leaders, ensuring timely completion of all integration tasks.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement or project management within a healthcare environment.Proven experience with Lean and / or Six Sigma methodologies.Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage projects effectively under tight timelines.Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Bachelor's degree in a related field.Preferred Qualifications :
