Custodial And Groundskeeping Position

Under the supervision of the Training Facilitator, this position is responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks, primarily focused on custodial duties with additional responsibilities in groundskeeping. Work involves maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the coal-fired power plant facilities.

Qualifications : Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of high school plus experience in general plant maintenance, custodial work and grounds keeping.

Essential Functions of the Job :

• Perform general custodial duties and basic facilities maintenance across two coal-fired power plants, including administrative and operational areas.
• Carry out groundskeeping tasks such as lawn care, debris removal, and snow removal to maintain safe and orderly exterior conditions.
• Provide support to power plant staff during routine operations and scheduled outages, including general labor assistance.
• Assist with confined space entry and hot work permitting and monitoring, particularly during plant outages when demand increases.
