Project / Process Analyst Job Description

Company : Community Physicians, Oak Brook, Illinois

Location : Oak Brook, IL (Hybrid : mixture of onsite and remote work)

Reports To : VP Transformation

Position Summary

Community Physicians is seeking a proactive, organized Project / Process Analyst with 34 years of experience to help oversee multiple projects across departments, standardize processes, establish cadence and accountability, and ensure both technical and functional alignment. This role will be central to coordinating, documenting, measuring, and optimizing processes to help the organization scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate projects across departments ensuring ontime delivery and clear communication.
  • Design, document, and implement standardized processes and workflows.
  • Set and maintain project cadence : schedule checkins, status updates, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables and ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate collaboration across clinical, administrative, billing, and IT departments.
  • Gather functional requirements for process changes and coordinate with technical teams or vendors.
  • Create and report on metrics for process performance, using data to drive improvement.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs for staff training and compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory or compliance implications where relevant.
  • Manage, coordinate, and improve the insurance credentialing and re-credentialing process for providers and facilities (hospitals, clinics, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate enrollment and reimbursement.

Required Qualifications

  • 34 years of experience in project coordination, process improvement, or business analysis within healthcare.
  • Strong experience with process mapping, workflow design, and SOP documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience translating between clinical, administrative, and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, comfort with metrics and dashboards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Techsavvy : familiarity with EMRs, scheduling, and billing systems.
  • Preferred / NicetoHave

  • Formal process improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
  • Certified Project Management credentials (PMP, CAPM).
  • Experience in a multispecialty physician practice.
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Working Conditions

    Hybrid role with approximately 23 onsite days per week. May require occasional extended hours during project launches or crossfunctional initiatives.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Suggested Salary Range :

    $78,000 - $105,000
