Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and required credentials for a 13-week contract assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based radiology / cardiology department primarily performing echocardiograms
  • Monday through Friday day shifts, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • No call required
  • Potential to float within the hospital as needed
  • Work assignment lasts 13 weeks with 40 hours per week
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Travelers must not live within a 60-mile radius of the facility
  • Returning employees may not work as a traveler for more than 1 year consecutively and must take a 1-year break before returning
  • Only one holiday requested time off will be accepted if multiple holidays fall within the contract
  • COVID vaccination is not required for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ARDMS or CCI RCS credential required
  • Associate's degree or technical diploma in a related healthcare program
  • Valid Wisconsin license required if applicable
