American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of OR, general X-ray, and fluoroscopy experience and current ARRT certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care radiology department covering general X-ray, fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable imagingDepartment includes 4 general X-ray rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, and uses GE, Shimadzu, and OEC C-Arm equipmentSchedule is Friday to Sunday, 10 : 30 AM to 11 : 00 PM, 12-hour shifts for 36 hours per weekFloat between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portables as requiredAverage volume of 80-100 studies per 24-hour periodUses Epic EMR and SECTRA PACS; Windows computer software is used throughout the departmentSome call may be required with a 45-minute response timeDepartment supervision by an imaging supervisor and shift / modality lead techsRadiologist is on site 24 / 7Expected to perform all general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR exams independentlyPersonal scrubs are acceptable; any color allowed as long as professional; hospital scrubs provided only for OR assignmentsThree-day department orientation provided at start of assignmentHoliday coverage required if scheduled shift falls on a holidayReferences required : one supervisor from the past 12 months, plus one peer or supervisor from the last 3 yearsCopy of driver’s license required for consideration\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years experience performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR examsActive ARRT RT (R) certification, BLS, and Certified Radiologic Technologist credentialsActive state license required if applicable; license must be in hand at time of considerationOwn lead markers requiredRadiation badge required prior to assignment startExperience with Epic EMR and SECTRA PACS preferred\n Benefits\n
