GDIT is currently seeking a Proposal Writer to join our team! This position will sit in our Herndon, VA, Fall Church, VA, or Annapolis Junction, MD offices and work remotely, as permitted. In this role you will be responsible for the development, planning, and writing of compliant and compelling proposal content. As a key member of the proposal team, you will support GDIT Capture Managers and Proposal Managers in the planning and development of proposal win themes, and identification of discriminators, benefits, and key features of solutions on proposals across the entire enterprise.

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Serve as Volume Lead and / or Lead Writer for Past Performance Volumes of classified and non-classified proposals at GDIT ranging in value from $50M to $1B+. Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in developing sections of federal proposals is a key requirement for this position.
• Work closely with Solutions Architects and Subject Matter Experts and operations staff to collect data required for the development of Past Performance Volumes.
• Research potential GDIT past performance references using the available resources
• Write, edit, and revise proposal materials and coordinate with technical and program personnel to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze RFP requirements and participate in solution meetings.
• Participate in color team reviews.
• Participate in the continuing quality improvement initiatives.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
