Job descriptionTravel RN Oncology position at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Medical / surgical oncology unit with chemotherapy administration and blood products. 24 beds in the unit with patient ratio of 5 : 1, sometimes 6 : 1. EMR system used is Cerner. Scrub color is navy blue. RN Indiana licensure required. ACLS certification required. BLS certification required. Oncology background preferred. 2+ years of experience required. Travelers must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected. Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted. Shift : Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM. Call requirements : Every other or every third weekend, holidays on rotation schedule, no on-call requirements. Floating required. Holiday coverage : Every other holiday required. 72 hours bi-weekly (96 hours bi-weekly not an option). Medical / surgical oncology unit. Chemotherapy administration and blood products. 24 beds in unit. Patient ratio 5 : 1, sometimes 6 : 1. Scrub color navy blue.
