About The Position
Job Title : Echo Tech
Profession : Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty : Cardiac Sonographer
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day 5x8-Hour
Hours per Shift : 07 : 00 - 15 : 30
Experience : Minimum 1 year required
License : Valid California license required; no temporary licenses accepted
Certifications : BLS, ARDMS or CCI RCS required
Must-Have :
- 1 year of experience
- Local radius of 50 miles
Description :
Under minimal supervision, operates cardiac ultrasound equipment.
Produces optimal echocardiographic images for diagnostic evaluation.
Evaluates chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function.
Works with neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Available for weekends and holidays.
Rotating 8-hour shifts from Sunday through Saturday.
Hours of the lab are from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 30 PM.
Candidates might be required to float between facilities.
Trainers should provide communication devices needed to perform duties.
References from supervisory personnel covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state.
Travelers refusing to float may face termination of assignment.
Providers will need to submit their monthly cell phone bill directly.
