Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Cell and Molecular Physiology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School ofMedicine (SSOM) seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSORlevel.
We seek a colleague whose research program will complement departmental strengths incardiovascular, aging, molecular and cellular neuroscience, cell mechanics, and cell signalingresearch.
Careful but not exclusive consideration will be given to applicants who engage inbiophysical, aging, and multi-omics approaches.
The successful candidate will have theopportunity to engage collaborative translational research groups within Loyola’s CardiovascularResearch Institute and the Center for Healthy Aging and Resistance Mechanisms.

Laboratory space will beprovided in the recently-constructed Center for Translational Research and Education(www.luc.edu / ctre).
Candidates must have a doctoral degree and postdoctoral experience with strong publicationrecords. The faculty applicant will be expected to sustain an independent, externally-fundedresearch program and contribute to graduate and medical education.
