Role Description

The role of Therapist at Sana Lake Recovery is a full-time, on-site position based in Dittmer, MO. The Therapist will provide individual and group therapy services, assess members' specific needs, and develop tailored treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include documenting member progress, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing compassionate support to help members achieve sustained recovery. The role also includes implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and educating members about coping strategies and mental health resources.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including individual and group therapy
• Skilled in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and monitoring progress
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to support collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and member engagement
• Compassionate and empathetic approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Relevant professional licensures or certifications (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) are preferred
• Experience working with individuals with substance use or co-occurring mental health challenges is highly beneficial
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required
