The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for training, supporting and developing new and existing members of the sales team within the assigned region. The Regional Sales Manager will also take on special projects and be aligned with the company's growth and profit initiatives.

Responsibilities :

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Train, lead, and mentor Sales Representatives within the region
  • Lead as a subject matter, product and disease state expert in the company's field
  • Grow sales revenue while protecting the company's profits and margins
  • Interview and recruit elite sales professionals who support the company's mission and culture
  • Approve PTO, perform 90 day and annual reviews, and all other supervisory duties for the regional sales team
  • Establish, drive and ensure accountability with sales goals in the region
  • Oversee the company's KPIs and ensure goals and metrics meet expectations
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure KPIs and growth goals are met, as well as strategic planning for future growth
  • Routinely travel throughout the region to lead meetings and develop the sales team
  • Lead interactive conference team calls for ongoing training and leadership
  • Able to train the sales team on the Salesforce CRM system
  • Protect the company's integrity and cultivate culture with internal office team and sales team
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of Wound Care and Venous disease states, deductibles, and required insurance paperwork
  • Work closely with Sales Support Representatives and the Administrative Team
  • Ensure that the steps to process a claim are followed and are completed
  • Enforce the company's policies to the sales team to communicate with physicians regarding patient progress and to comply with insurance guidelines
  • Maintain and protect high team morale and retention with the region
  • Ability to determine optimal equipment for individual patient needs
  • Independently solve sales team problems and concerns with patients and clinics
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the industry, market and competitors
  • Effectively communicate with the corporate team to ensure the company's initiatives are maintained
  • Develop and organize a sales strategy and mange time accordingly
  • Comply with all HIPAA and privacy regulations
  • Adhere to laws and best practices in regard to dealing with patients and patient data
  • Follow company expense polices
  • Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner consistent with business needs
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) :

  • Five years of sales, business or management experience
  • A valid driver's license, automobile insurance and clean driving record
  • Expert knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance qualifications
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Salesforce and MS Office and Apple products
  • Able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Able to work effectively with a wide range of people, including referral sources, patients, service agencies, VAs, co-workers, and management
  • Able to obtain the necessary immunizations and the records required to gain access to the facilities within assigned region
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, regionally with approximately one flight every other week
