The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for training, supporting and developing new and existing members of the sales team within the assigned region. The Regional Sales Manager will also take on special projects and be aligned with the company's growth and profit initiatives.
Responsibilities :
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
Train, lead, and mentor Sales Representatives within the regionLead as a subject matter, product and disease state expert in the company's fieldGrow sales revenue while protecting the company's profits and marginsInterview and recruit elite sales professionals who support the company's mission and cultureApprove PTO, perform 90 day and annual reviews, and all other supervisory duties for the regional sales teamEstablish, drive and ensure accountability with sales goals in the regionOversee the company's KPIs and ensure goals and metrics meet expectationsWork closely with the Director of Sales to ensure KPIs and growth goals are met, as well as strategic planning for future growthRoutinely travel throughout the region to lead meetings and develop the sales teamLead interactive conference team calls for ongoing training and leadershipAble to train the sales team on the Salesforce CRM systemProtect the company's integrity and cultivate culture with internal office team and sales teamDemonstrate a complete understanding of Wound Care and Venous disease states, deductibles, and required insurance paperworkWork closely with Sales Support Representatives and the Administrative TeamEnsure that the steps to process a claim are followed and are completedEnforce the company's policies to the sales team to communicate with physicians regarding patient progress and to comply with insurance guidelinesMaintain and protect high team morale and retention with the regionAbility to determine optimal equipment for individual patient needsIndependently solve sales team problems and concerns with patients and clinicsDemonstrate an understanding of the industry, market and competitorsEffectively communicate with the corporate team to ensure the company's initiatives are maintainedDevelop and organize a sales strategy and mange time accordinglyComply with all HIPAA and privacy regulationsAdhere to laws and best practices in regard to dealing with patients and patient dataFollow company expense policesComplete all administrative tasks in a timely manner consistent with business needsPerform other job-related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) :
Five years of sales, business or management experienceA valid driver's license, automobile insurance and clean driving recordExpert knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance qualificationsProficiency with computer applications including Salesforce and MS Office and Apple productsAble to communicate clearly, both orally and in writingAble to work effectively with a wide range of people, including referral sources, patients, service agencies, VAs, co-workers, and managementAble to obtain the necessary immunizations and the records required to gain access to the facilities within assigned regionAbility to travel 50% of the time, regionally with approximately one flight every other weekSeniority level
