About The Position

Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Hours per Shift : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 3 years

License : Current CPR Certificate, ARRT, CRT certification for general radiography

Certifications : Must possess current mammography certification in state and through ARRT

Description :

Performs all duties of the Staff Radiologic position in the imaging department and radiology services under the general supervision of the Radiologist.

Conducts daily operations of the department.

Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.

The program will grant a minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.

Three or more years of experience as a mammography technologist is preferred.

Requires active, current experience in the mammography setting.

Days and weekends are required to work.

It is preferred that this position works a minimum of one weekend day per week or more, depending on scheduling needs as operations ramp back up.

Experience with the Epic Systems Corporation charting system is beneficial.
