Job Description :
The Associate Administrator, Client Technology provides hands-on support for end-user hardware, software, and network systems across a dynamic operational environment. This role serves as the first line of defense in maintaining system uptime, resolving incidents, and assisting with the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and devices.
The ideal candidate combines technical troubleshooting skills , strong customer service , and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
- Provide on-site support for PCs, servers, and networking hardware , including setup, deployment, and configuration.
- Support software applications such as Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Office, Virtual Desktop, and Cisco networking tools .
- Perform hardware troubleshooting , including facility cabling, printers, RF units, and warehouse devices.
- Assist with mobile device deployment and support for smartphones and tablets.
- Monitor on-site IT systems , including backups, UPS systems, and other related infrastructure.
- Provide remote technical support for users across facilities.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and provide guidance on best practices for hardware and software usage.
- Engage and coordinate with external vendors for issue resolution and service requests.
- Assist in technology planning, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain inventory and documentation for spare parts, electronic waste, and deployed hardware.
- Perform other duties as assigned by IT management or senior administrators.
Must Haves (Required Qualifications) :
Associate's degree or technical school certification in Information Technology or related field preferred.3-5 years of experience providing IT or IS technical support.T roubleshooting and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.Excellent customer service and communication skills .Ability to travel up to 15% as needed for facility support.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Knowledge of Lotus Notes and LanDesk technologies (or equivalent enterprise tools).Nice to Haves (Preferred Skills) :
Experience supporting warehouse technologies (RF devices, label printers, terminals).Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) tools.Knowledge of networking fundamentals , including Cisco systems.Experience in corporate IT environments or multi-location support settings.Benefits :
