Summary :
Responsible for assigned nursing roles in the Cath Lab including Holding and Recovery; gives direct and indirect care as indicated by patient condition; works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Supervises subordinates to ensure patient safety standards are attained. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION : Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 1 year in critical care, ED or OR
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
